I am sure by now you have heard about this horrible fire in Middletown, CA. I first heard about it while on vacation in Hawaii. We have multiple friends and family that live in the area and were devastated to hear the news. I made all the necessary phone calls and found out that everyone I know is safe, however over one thousand homes were destroyed and there were lives lost.
Dana Park wants to do what we can to help. We have started a donation drop off at the clinic. There are many things needed. Not only items for families but there pets as well and that is where we stepped in.
Items needed are kennels, crates, food and water bowls, collars, leashes, food, etc. They need it all. We will also take items for people as well. My son, Gage, wanted to help and donated 2 boxes of toys and books for the children who lost everything.
Please, whatever you can spare, drop it by the hospital and we can make sure that the families will get them. We have a contact that is going down about once a week.
Thank you to everyone in advance and to all of those who have already stepped in to help!
